Family of 4 seeking nanny support. Dad and Mom both work outside of the home.
Long-Term Full-Time Nanny Needed
$20-22/hour, FT 40 hours/week, M-F 8am-4pm. 2 Weeks PTO and Guaranteed Hours are offered.
With two boys (ages 1 & 4 years) and a dog, this family is always keeping busy and on the move. The boys are high energy and very active. This family is transitioning from daycare to an in-home nanny, to provide an opportunity for their children to engage in more movement and activities in a relaxed and less structured environment. The family is looking for a teamwork style dynamic with a nanny who is willing to offer suggestions and expertise. They are a flexible and accommodating family, and they want their children to enjoy their days being kids. This is a long-term (4+ years) position, with a 1 year Work Agreement, and expected renewals.
The main responsibilities of this position will be the care of the children and related duties, as outlined below. High energy, a love of outdoor activities, and high initiative are important to this family and are therefore required personal values to be considered for this position.
Position to start in February 2026.
About the Nanny Job
- Schedule: FT 40 hours/week, M-F 8am-4pm
- Pay Rate: $20-22/hour. W-2 Employment position with legal payroll and tax withholding

- Experience & Education Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional childcare experience required.
- Teaching experience (classroom, preschool, or daycare setting) is a plus.
- Only non-smoking candidates will be considered.
- High School Education or equivalent is required.
- Ideal Nanny Qualities:
- Nurturing, patient, active, kind, go-with-the-flow, adaptable & flexible, loves being outdoors, creative and activity focused, high initiative problem solver.
- Pets: Dog: Male 75 lb Portuguese Water Dog (hypoallergenic). Very sweet and gets along well with adults. He does steal food from the kids, so he is put away during meal times.
- House Management: none
- Level of Activity:
- Regular outdoor activities are expected. Visits to play places, parks, the community kiddie pool, etc. are regular occurrences. The home has four levels with many flights of stairs: upstairs, main level, basement, and lower level basement. We have a kiddie lock on the door for the lower level basement right now, but we plan to make it a big kiddie area soon. We are about halfway done now.
