Full Time Nanny Position Munster, IN --Position Open!--
First time parents seeking engaging and patient FT Nanny for 10 m/o in Munster.
Full-Time (40-60 hours/week) Nanny needed
$18-20/hour, Full-time, M-F 40-60 hours/week (regular overtime).
These first time parents are looking for a nanny who will engage their son with daily activities and new experiences. The baby is underweight (he always eats, but stops too soon), so will require a nanny with patience and understanding to help him increase his appetite. With Mom starting as a training resident physician, and dad traveling for work, this position offers regular overtime for the 3 years of Mom’s training program. After 3 years, the schedule will remain full-time, but be not as demanding. This is a long-term position, with a 1 year Work Agreement, and expected renewals. As the family intends to have more children in the future, this position is expected to last for up to 10 years.
The main responsibilities of this position will be the care of the child and related duties, as outlined below. Open communication and dependability are important to this family and are therefore required personal values to be considered for this position.
Position to start in June 2025. Guaranteed Hours and 2 weeks paid vacation are offered.
About the Nanny Job
- Schedule: Full Time, 40-60 hours/week (regular overtime), M-F with a scheduling window of 6:30am-6:30pm
- Hourly Rate: $18-20/hour. W-2 Employment position with legal payroll and tax withholdings

- 2+ Years of professional childcare experience required
- 6+ months of professional toddler care (ages 1-3 years) experience preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood developmental milestones
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Family Personality:
- Dad works in corporate finances and commutes to Chicago for work. He also travels for work often, with about 8 trips per year expected. Of the two, Dad is the practical and organized one. He is a good judge of character and values treating others respectfully. Mom will have her hands full for the next 3 years as a training resident physician, working around 80 hours per week during this time. She is caring and kind, and sees the good in everyone. She is more emotionally sensitive than Dad, and also cleanliness is very important to Mom. As a family, they are into fitness and work out together, and now bring the baby to involve him! They prioritize meal prepping and eating well. When the baby goes to sleep, Mom & Dad have their shows they enjoy watching together.
