Family in Valparaiso is seeking to hire a proactive and down-to-earth Full-Time Nanny for their 4 children.
Full-Time Nanny needed for 4 children
$18-23/hour, FT 40 hours/week, M-Th 6:30am-4:30pm.
With 4 children in the home, the morning routine is an important first part of this position’s responsibilities each day. The two older children (ages 11 and 8 years) attend school during the day, and the 4 year old is attending preschool on M/W/F. Between school drop off & pick up, the nanny’s primary focus will be with the youngest child (age 11 months). This is a long-term position, ideally 4-5 years, with a 1 year Work Agreement and expected renewals.
The main responsibilities of this position will be the care of the children and related duties. An up-front & open communication style and a teamwork oriented dynamic are important to this family, and are therefore required personal values to be considered for this position.
Position to start in March 2024. 2 Weeks PTO and Guaranteed Hours are offered.
About the Nanny Job
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week. Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm
- Hourly Rate: $18-23/hour depending on education level and experience. W-2 Employment position with legal payroll and tax withholdings

- Experience & Education Requirements:
- 2+ Years of professional childcare experience required.
- Confidence and experience working with all ages of children required.
- Confidence and experience with homework help required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College education or training in Child Development or Early Childhood Education is a bonus.

As a family we enjoy seeing movies, being outside, going on trips or vacations, attending family events, going out to dinner, and relaxing in the “loft” upstairs together each night.
