Full-Time Schedule Flexible Nanny Needed
$20-25/hour, Full Time, somewhat inconsistent schedule on a 4 week rotation
This role supports both the children and household, with a strong focus on the children’s interests & growth and creating a peaceful and organized home. Both parents are doctors and have some inconsistency to their schedules. Dad is on-call 3x per week and Mom typically works 3 weeks on, 1 week off, plus 1 weekend every 4 weeks. Because of these factors, schedule flexibility and punctuality are mandatory for this role. The main focus of this position is the care of the family’s 2 boys, but when they are in school/daycare, some household chores and tasks are expected. The family has employed a live-in nanny for several years, but she needs to leave due to health related reasons, and the family is transitioning to a live-out position. Both the family and the live-in nanny are of Indian descent, so they are looking for a nanny who is open-minded and has confidence navigating a nanny transition that will include some cultural differences. This is a long-term position, expected to last up to 10 or more years, with a 1 year Work Agreement, and expected renewals.
The main responsibilities of this position will be the care of the children and related duties, as outlined below. Open communication, a collaborative style, and schedule flexibility are important to this family and are therefore required personal values to be considered for this position.

About the Nanny Job
- Schedule: Full Time, somewhat inconsistent schedule on a 4 week rotation, based on mom’s work schedule. Some weekends will be required. Schedule will be provided 3 months in advance.
- Hourly Rate: $20-25+/hour, based on years of experience & qualifications. W-2 Employment position with legal payroll and tax withholdings

- Experience & Education Requirements:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 2+ Years of professional childcare experience required.
- 2+ Years of professional in-home nanny experience strongly preferred.

An organized and tidy family who enjoys being outside as well as being at home. They value teaching their children honesty and open communication. They have a structured approach and are raising their children to be productive individuals. They have created a safe environment for their children in their home to support them in their growth.
- Ideal Family/Nanny Relationship:
- We anticipate a warm up and learning period, specifically in relation to adjusting to cultural differences. Open communication and a collaborative dynamic are expected from the start. Over time we would like to move toward a trusting and empowering relationship with the Nanny. We want to be involved in parenting decisions and expect to have open and casual communication with the nanny during hand-off times.
