2 Days/Week Part-Time Nanny Needed
$20-23/hour based on experience with special needs. W-2 Employment position with legal payroll and tax withholdings.
With a very charismatic and talkative 5 y/o girl and a highly special needs 3 y/o boy, this family is looking for a Mother’s Helper/Nanny who will share the load. Dad is often traveling for work, and Mom stays home (SAHM) to support the children. This is a long-term position, with a 6 month Work Agreement, and expected renewals for 3-5 years.
The main responsibilities of this position will be the care of the children and related duties, as outlined below. High stamina and open communication are important to this family and are therefore required personal values to be considered for this position.

About the Nanny Job
- Schedule: Mondays 9am-8pm and Wednesdays 11am-6pm
- Hourly Rate: $20-23/hour based on experience with special needs
- Start Date: ASAP for the right fit
- Children:
- 5 y/o girl
- 3 y/o boy with high level of special needs
- Experience & Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ Years of Professional Childcare Experience
- 6+ Months Toddler Experience
- Experience with Special Needs, specifically with non-verbal children, eating limitations, elopement risks, and medical needs
- Family Personality:
- Even though Mom & Dad are relatively quiet people, the kids are loud and boisterous!
- Ideal Family/Nanny Relationship:
- Mom will regularly ask for confirmation that things have been done, for her own peace of mind. We do want our nanny to feel like part of the family. We expect to have regular and open communication throughout the day, and pictures and updates are appreciated! We expect to hold mutual respect in this relationship and maintain professional boundaries.
