PT nanny placement steps

Register with the online form. The $250 registration fee brings you on as a nanny placement client and serves as dual registration for Nannies By Appointment! We start with a phone call for introductions, answering your immediate questions, and scheduling our In-Home Consultation

STEP 2 — In-Home Consultation

The In-Home Consultation is included with registration. This detailed & informative meeting serves two purposes:

  1. We’ll review the service details and answer related questions. Guidance, support, and direction are provided during our discussion.
  2. For job description and matchmaking purposes, we discuss important details about your family, your needs, and the expectations for your position.

STEP 3 — Recruiting, Screening & Prep

Upon payment of the client deposit, details from the In-Home Consultation are used to create a Detailed Job Description and implement a Recruiting & 12-Point Screening Plan for your position. This is where most of the work happens, plan for it to take 4-8 weeks for your new nanny’s first day.

During this time, you’ll receive timely resources and guidance to prepare your family for nanny employment.

STEP 4 — Interview candidates

My top 2 fully vetted, hand-selected nannies for your family will be presented for you to interview. I assist with drafting an Offer Letter once you’ve made your selection!

STEP 5 — Hire

A Nanny Employment Agreement is facilitated between you and the nanny to ensure clear communication and that the relationship suits all parties for a long-lasting hire. The placement fee will be billed upon acceptance of the Nanny Employment Agreement by your new nanny.

STEP 6 — support

The Part-Time Nanny Placement Service comes with  full support and resources, Nannies By Appointment registration, and Nanny Employment Agreement renewals.

They value consistent, high quality care and therefore treat their nanny with respect. To avoid turnover and establish consistent and steady care, structure part-time nanny positions with the nanny’s needs in mind. 

Northwest Indiana Nannies places nannies in part-time nanny positions within the following parameters:

Part-time nannies are in high demand! For this reason, candidates may be entry-level nannies who have 2+ years of relevant childcare experience. Candidates may also be experienced nannies with a bring-along child of their own.

PT NANNY PLACEMENT PRICING:

Service Fees: 

  • $250 Registration Fee – includes introductory phone call, In-Home Consultation, and dual registration for Nannies By Appointment.

The Part-Time Nanny Placement Fee is a half-up-front & flat rate structure, in the amount of $2500:

  • Client Deposit (half up-front, due to begin service)
    • $1250
  • Placement Fee (service fulfilled, due upon nanny hire)
    • $1250
