FT Nanny Placement steps
Register with the online form here. The $250 registration fee brings you on as a nanny placement client and serves as dual registration for Nannies By Appointment! We start with a phone call for introductions, answering your immediate questions, and scheduling our In-Home Meeting & Consultation.
STEP 2 — In-Home MEETING & Consultation
The In-Home Meeting & Consultation is included with registration. This detailed & informative meeting serves two purposes:
- We’ll review the service details and answer related questions. Guidance, support, and direction are provided during our discussion.
- For job description and matchmaking purposes, we discuss important details about your family, your needs, and your expectations for your nanny position.
STEP 3 — Recruiting, Screening & Prep
Upon payment of the search fee (equal to 3x job’s weekly compensation), details from the In-Home Meeting are used to create a Detailed Job Description and implement a Recruiting & 12-Point Screening Plan for your position. This is where most of the work happens, plan for it to take 4-8 weeks for your new nanny’s first day.
During this time, you’ll receive timely resources and guidance to prepare your family for nanny employment.
STEP 4 — Interview candidates
My top 3 fully vetted, hand-selected nannies for your family will be presented for you to interview. I assist with drafting an Offer Letter once you’ve made your selection!
STEP 5 — Hire
A Nanny Work Agreement is facilitated between you and the nanny to ensure clear communication and that the relationship suits all parties for a long-lasting hire. The placement fee (equal to 3x job’s weekly compensation) will be billed upon acceptance of the Nanny Work Agreement by your new nanny.
STEP 6 — support & Resources
The Full-Time Nanny Placement Service includes full support and resources, Nannies By Appointment registration, and Nanny Work Agreement renewals. Full-time nanny placements also include a 364 Day Replacement Policy for extra peace of mind.
Full-Time Job Parameters
Nanny placement clients invest in private childcare to provide the best opportunities for their children to thrive. They value consistent, high quality care and therefore treat their nanny with respect. Through Northwest Indiana Nannies, I provide clients with guidance, relief, and excellent nannies.
Clients I serve:
- Reside in Lake, Porter, LaPorte, or northern Newton & Jasper Counties
- Need a full-time (32+ hours/week) private in-home nanny
- Willing pay their nanny legally (I’ll help you with this!)
- Offer $18-26/hour depending on needs and qualification requirements
- 12 Month Work Agreement (renewals are free of charge)
FT NANNY PLACEMENT PRICING:
Service Fees:
Family Registration Fee: $250 – includes introductory phone call, In-Home Meeting & Consultation, and dual registration for Nannies By Appointment.
Full-Time Nanny Placement Fee: On average I work for clients for 6 weeks, and charge the same rate you plan to pay your nanny, in a half-up-front structure:
- Search Fee (due to begin service) is equal to 3x jobs’s weekly compensation
- Placement Fee (due upon nanny hire) is equal to 3x job’s weekly compensation

- Double Interviewed (phone screen and formal interview)
- Experience Review and Verification
- 3 In-depth Reference Checks (transcripts provided)
- Online Presence and Social Media Screen
- Document Verification (CPR & 1st Aid, Drivers License, Car Insurance)
- Detailed Background Check (National Watchlist, SSN trace, Sex Offender Check, National Criminal Records, County Criminal Records for last 7 years)
- Completion of Northwest Indiana Nannies Professional Development and On-Boarding Training
